SO MANY CHOICES! A Beginner’s Guide to YL Supplements

As you look through Young Living’s website, you’ll notice the vast array of nutritional supplements offered. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, but be reassured: you can’t go wrong!

Young Living’s supplements fall into three major categories: Foundation nutrition, Cleansing nutrition, and Targeted Nutrition.  If you aren’t sure where to start and you are new to oils, always go for cleansing first.  Two great options are the Cleansing Trio or the 5-Day Nutritive Cleanse Kit. From there I like to recommend Ningxia Red, Life 9 Probiotic, Sulfurzyme Powder, and Multigreens as part of your everyday nutritional foundation.

We always recommend that new members start on Ningxia Red early in their Young Living journey, because it provides wonderful full-body support. It is a juice puree of Goji berries (or wolf berries) found in the Ningxia province of China. Gary Young found in his research that eating Goji berries as part of a healthy diet had a huge impact on a person’s longevity and well-being. Loaded with antioxidants, this drink is a powerhouse for the immune system, and has so many benefits!

Gut health is especially important, and if that’s your area of focus then Life 9 is a great choice for a probiotic.

Life 9 is a proprietary, high-potency probiotic that combines 17 billion live cultures from nine beneficial bacteria strains. It helps promote healthy digestion, supports gut health, and helps maintain normal intestinal function for the overall support of a healthy immune system.*

Life 9 is designed with targeted-release capsules, a dual-sorbent desiccant, and a special bottle and cap to ensure that your Life 9 stays fresh and effective. Each bottle contains 30 capsules, making it convenient to take this powerful supplement every day.

Sulfurzyme Powder is another incredibly important supplement that every person can benefit from. Our bodies are made of sulfur (not to be confused with sulpha drugs that many people are allergic to). Sulfurzyme replaces important minerals in the body, and contains MSM and prebiotics as well.  If you’re curious about MSM, google the benefits of it to learn all the reasons why you or a family member might enjoy this product.

From Young Living’s website: “Sulfurzyme® combines wolfberry with MSM, a naturally occurring organic form of dietary sulfur needed by our bodies every day to maintain the structure of proteins, protect cells and cell membranes, replenish the connections between cells, and preserve the molecular framework of connective tissue.* MSM also supports the immune system, the liver, circulation, and proper intestinal function and works to scavenge free radicals.* Wolfberries contain minerals and coenzymes that support the assimilation and metabolism of sulfur.* FOS is added to this formula to support normal digestive system health.*

Multigreens is another foundational supplement that every person needs. In our diets we do NOT eat enough greens and these nutrients from green leafy vegetables are important. But rather than eat an enormous salad for every meal, we can take concentrated amounts of greens from multiple types of veggies in order to supplement what our bodies are missing in our food.

MultiGreens™ is a nutritious chlorophyll formula designed to boost vitality by working with the glandular, nervous, and circulatory systems.* MultiGreens is made with spirulina, alfalfa sprouts, barley grass, bee pollen, eleuthero, Pacific kelp, and therapeutic-grade essential oils.

There are so many more fabulous supplements from Young Living. Explore that section on our website and see what might be of value to you.
